The use of the D/S POLO system is steadily increasing, as is the amount of data stored in it. We will be implementing several changes to ensure that the system remains secure in the future. The name Port Activity will also be replaced with D/S POLO.
POLO will be migrated to a new cloud environment, resulting in a few-hours service outage March 10
During the outage, all users will be logged out of the system, and each user must log in again afterwards with their existing credentials. No new registration is required; your current username and password will continue to work.
The planned migration time is March 10 at 08:00 (UTC+2 / Eastern European Time, EET).
- The estimated service outage will be few hours.
- Service is not reachable during the maintenance break, but it will be available normally with old user credentials after the break.
- Admin and Second admin users need to sign in with MFA process.
The outage and logout will not affect user permissions, usernames, or any data stored in the system.
Reminder about the outage will be provided both by email and in the POLO system closer to the event.
The name “Port Activity” and the associated domains portactivity.fi and portactivity.se will be phased out
The name “Port Activity” will be replaced and changed to D/S POLO. This will have an impact on corresponding domain addresses as well.
Since March 10 the users in Finland and Germany will be automatically redirected to dspolo.com. In Sweden similar redirection from portactivity.se will be later this year. Exact schedule will be informed later.
After the changes, the Port Activity name and the separate country-specific login pages will be discontinued, and the service will operate uniformly under the D/S POLO name at dspolo.com.
The Privacy Notice will be updated to reflect current usage
The new Privacy Notice will be sent to all users by email.
The previous Privacy Notice was created at a time when the system contained significantly less data, and the data was used differently. The updated terms also reflect changed legal requirements.
